Erikka Opinio is a graduate of the 2200-hour Massage Therapy program at MacEwan University and is working towards her certification as a Canadian Sports Massage Therapist. She has two years of extensive experience with the MacEwan Griffins’ teams, working closely with track and volleyball athletes alongside athletic therapists. She is also working towards a Bachelor of Kinesiology to further refine her skills in athletic biomechanics. Her interest in human anatomy and physiology started after doing her 200-hour yoga teacher training and competitively swam and played volleyball throughout grade school. Erikka looks at the overall athlete and uses her skills in deep tissue and hydrotherapy techniques to help the body perform at the most optimal level.
